The site went down a few days ago because the host company decided to migrate us to a new server (without notifying me). During transit, they hit problems because the downloads folder contained corrupt files. They have quarantined that folder and will return it once they can repair what's there. In the mean time though, Podcasting will not work, nor will you be able to download any episodes from the archives in the Downloads section. I won't be able to upload anything new either, however...

I have been notified by Shuri, our Stream Manager that we are cleared for Album transfers--this means all those albums I compiled almost a month ago are ready to be brought over and added to the weekly playlists! Exciting, I know!

In other news, Winter's show, The Warp Zone remains on Sundays at 7:00 PM PST until further notice. I was under the initial impression it might change to Thursdays permanently, but it seems he is more certain it will stay where it is now. Sometime soon (ASAP), I will be adding him to the News roster so he can post his own updates, as well as edit his lovely new Show Page! At any rate, all of this is aesthetic, and thus kind of temporary in a sense because...

...Siofra is still looking for ideas on the new layout! It will take months upon months, but she is dedicated to revamping the site. The problem is, she needs to know what YOU WANT in The Spinning Stream's webpage. So email here at shofrachan@gmail.com! Do it! Please! If not for her, then for me! If not for me, then for YOU! Anything and everything you want changed or added should be expounded upon in your email to her.

I also want to remind you of our social networks, some of which may be lacking in membership; we are always on Facebook, and there, you should feel free to address news topics such as these (which are simultaneously posted here and there) and anything else you want to share with the 'Stream. Okay, here's the long and short of things. I've decided to take on the burden of doing a little site makeover. It's okay, I can handle it. But there is one thing I need input on.
I have a few ideas of what I want to change, but this website isn't just up here for me. So I need some input from the other people who use it. I will take suggestions about the layout, navigation, theme, appearance...whatever. I'll also take complaints! You can just tell me what you don't like, and I'll see if I can make a fix for it.

All you have to do is email me at shofrachan@gmail.com with the subject line "Spinning Stream Site". I'm gonna put it all in a folder and use them as I figure out what exactly my plan is. I must stress that this could take...months, as I live on a very busy schedule and so does the rest of the staff. But I'm pretty passionate about doing this for you guys!

Global Link Radio is going to go on hiatus until further notice. I can no longer run the show on Friday nights at 7pm PST, as it now conflicts with my new job that I start on Wednesday. Also, I am going to be giving our very own Winterkid the honor to take over Global Link Radio.
When Winter is ready to take over the show and start it back up, he will not be doing it on Friday nights either. That means it will likely be taking over the time slot for his current show, The Warp Zone, on Sunday Nights at 7PM PST/10PM EST.

Let me remind you, this is NOT the end of NintendoSuicide. I'm just merely giving up my hosting duties for Global Link Radio. We had a good tenure. 39 episodes over two seasons. I'm proud of that. Global Link Radio is still my baby, and I know it's going to be in good hands with Winterkid.

I will be returning this Fall with a new show, a show that will be the best show we'll have ever had. This coming show will transcend the Spinning Stream and may air on it and PSXFM simultaneously. Yes folks, it's going to be that great.
Those of you who have remained loyal to Global Link Radio over these past ~50 weeks of airing, thank you all so very much. GLR wouldn't have been around if it were not for all of you. I ask you to continue your support of GLR as Winter takes over this summer.
